HDR-MF-S Display

The High-Dynamic-Range Multi-Focal Stereoscopic (HDR-MF-S) display is a research platform developed by the Graphics and Display group at the University of Cambridge. The display features four 4k screens (two per eye) and is capable of presenting sterescopic content at two different focus distances simultaneously. The effective resolution of the display at the closest focus distances is around 150ppd.

These images give a high level overview of the design of the display.

The display features four screens each of which consists of an LCD filter and a DLP projector. These screens are arranged such into two stacks of two (one per eye).
